Description: Do you struggle when choosing fabric for your next quilt? If so, you will want to take this exciting class. This COLOR THEORY class is especially designed to help quilters learn to choose fabrics with confidence. The instructor, Cheryl Bridges, has a degree in Graphic Arts and has studied the use of color in a variety of mediums. In this class we will go far beyond the traditional color wheel. We will study how colors interact with each other and how colors evoke certain moods. We will look at the unique properties of printed fabrics such as scale and pattern. We will talk about how some fabrics dominate others. We will do value exercises and learn how to mix light and dark fabrics. The class includes a slide show with hundreds of images that give us examples of many different color schemes. Come to class and strengthen your own color identity so you can find joy in choosing fabrics
